So a lot of you know that I have a character named Fiske O'Reilly, but I would like you to understand just how complex he is. I come up with the smallest details for everything here because he's taken all of my creativity for the past seven years and he's still growing in character every day. So let's get started.

Fiske O'Reilly. Let's start with his name. When I was in sixth grade, I used to play a game of sorts with four of my friends, where we would sleep over at each others' houses(mostly my own house) and we would be our characters that we created, all wolves. So when we first created the characters way back in sixth grade, he had a different name. His name was Flame, in irony of the powers he possesses over water and because his original coloring was red, with a white tip on his tail, and if you stepped on that part of his tail, he'd freak(white flame is the hottest of them all). Over time, his look has changed entirely, as you may have seen in pictures. I will show the pictures in the artist's comments.

When his look changed, so did his name. It had gotten to the point where the name was too ironic and rather boring for me. Flame doesn't mean anything as a name, and he didn't have a last name, so as the character grew and my friends and I stopped playing our game, I gave him a last name that would prove that he was Irish. The first name Fiske, pronounced "F-eye-sk," is a Middle English name, meaning "fish." As mentioned he has powers over water, and with his much changed look, the tail of a dolphin or fish of some sort. So the name fits, and as all names are important for showing character and just because every name has a meaning, I had to make sure to take time with his name.

As Fiske changed how he looked, he never lost the fabric blue choker with the pure golden bell on it. It has always stayed a part of him, for all 7 years now. He has also gained an ear made of metal. He was tagged at one point by someone who found him too rare and beautiful to let someone shoot him. But of course, Fiske got tired of the tag and it irritated him down to his last good nerve, so he ripped it out, leaving nothing more than a bloody stump. So a friend of his specializes in making metal body parts(like chainmail in Full Metal Alchemist) and made him a metal ear. The ear has a hole in it to remind Fiske of the tag that was there, and the rip that was already in his ear was also put back. This ear functions as normal. He can hear with it and he can feel it when you touch it, because the wires are connected to parts of veins, nerves, and arteries that were cut.

Now as I've mentioned several times already, this character used to be part of a game with four of my friends. All of us are female, and all of them wanted female characters, while I wanted a male character, because I like playing male characters better, and because the game couldn't have gone without males. So we made a small storyline and went from there. We made the five of us siblings, and based on age, who was the oldest sibling and who was the youngest. So it was me with my character being the oldest, male, and somehow, the runt of the family(I'm the shortest and he's my height). And then came Stacey, with her character, called Autumn(she later changed the character's name to Aki, meaning "Fall" in Japanese), who controlled powers over fire. My character's relationship with her was hate for the water vs. fire thing. The next in line was my friend Joanna, with her character Shadow, of the earth element, and blocked off from the rest of us. She disliked the whole family. Then there was Alyssa, who was still a pup, named Twister(she later changed this to Ame, being Japanese for "rain"). She controlled the weather, storms, tornadoes, things like that. Her relationship to me was that she loved me and followed me around everywhere, and that I started calling her Ame after starting to teach her Japanese, because the two of us created the rain together, her being weather, myself being water. The next and last was Megan, who was a newborn silver pup named Moonlight, having "flower powers" because she was too innocent for anything else. Or was she? Every night of the full moon, something major would happen, be it good or bad. It was a full moon on the night we said that our parents got shot and killed by poachers. So, though I had already been the mean older brother and picked on her, my relationship with her turned even more bitter, because I blamed her for their death.

After my friends stopped playing this game, I re-created the night our parents got shot, and included them in the scenario, saying that Fiske had watched his whole family die by poachers and there was nothing he could do about it. But as part of the story, he sometimes blames himself for their deaths. He lives alone in a cave surrounded by waterfalls at the front, and dedications to his whole family fill the area. Flowers that never die planted even for Moonlight, though he still dislikes her.

Sometime after his family died, Fiske was raped. The incident has caused him to become scared of some humans, and he fears all the more humans because of the poachers. Because of the two incidents being as bad as they were, he is depressed and has a drinking problem, but, if you spend enough time with him and gain his trust, he can be one of the best people you've ever met. The only two beings who have absolutely-fully-to-the-maximum-power-ever gained his trust, are Sin, a deer living in his forest, and Seth, the green, black and white spotted koi fish living in the lake right outside his cave. The reason they've gained his trust is because they've been there with him since before his family died. Not to say he doesn't trust anyone else at all, because he trusts all of his friends, but these two are the only ones who have reached such a level of trust with him.

Fiske has two groups of friends. His band includes:
A horse called Nightmare, very creepy with fangs, and eats meat. Some of you may have seen his pictures in my photos.
Nightmare's boyfriend, a fox.
A Phoenix and a white tiger, also a couple.
And two vampires, a couple as well.
The band is called Seven Deadly Sins(7DS). There are seven members, each being assigned the sin that fits them the best.
Fiske is envy. Nightmare is lust. The Phoenix is wrath. The tiger is sloth. The vampires are gluttony and greed. The fox was not assigned a sin. He's not really part of the band, but rather just the support and he sometimes pitches in, so the spot of Pride is being reserved for Fiske's boyfriend. Each member wears a wristband with the word of their sin on it, and it is in the color of the representative color for that specific sin(ex. Envy wristband is green, lust wristband is royal blue, wrath wristband is red).
Each member also has a tracking device/cell phone of sorts. It is round in shape, and pops open like a mirror a girl would keep in her purse. It is black with gold rim and on the front of it carries the abbreviation "7DS" in that sparkly silver that shines different colors. It serves as an emergency device that is only speaker phone, and the buttons on the device stand for different things.(Ex. There is a button that has the letter "F" on it and if you press that button, you will call Fiske.) On the top half portion of the device is a tracker, and whoever you're talking to shows up on it in their exact location, as a green dot with the area labeled exactly as it is, so in an emergency, you can find whoever you're talking to. When doing emergency calling for all seven members, this tracker splits the screen into seven smaller pictures to show where every person is. All of the band members are from different worlds by their coupling(ex. Sasuke and Naruto are from the t.v. show Naruto, but Riku and Sora are from a game called Kingdom Hearts, and Kai and Rei are from a kid's show called Beyblade). So you need a way for them to interact through their different worlds. The tracker, which was made by Fiske, can penetrate the walls of the other worlds and reach everyone, and for them to interact, Fiske has found a way to create real life portals, which connect the worlds and show up anywhere you want or need them to.

The other group of friends is actually based off of my real friends. So you probably are in my story somewhere, because Fiske goes to Walton and hangs out with the over 50 people that are in my normal group. If you go to Eaton with me now, you fit in as well, just in different ways. Fiske wouldn't have met Eddie and Gavin at school because they go to a different school than himself, but rather, Fiske would go hiking or sniffing around, and run into Eddie, causing interaction when Eddie wonders what he is, because he's not by any means a normal wolf. Or he would go to a Motocross competition and see Gavin get hurt, and so would interact with him and take the time to heal him/fix the injuries, and in that way, they would become friends.(MIND YOU EDDIE AND GAVIN ARE EXAMPLES. You're in there too I promise!) So when something happens to me that is big and effects me greatly in some way, like my loss of friendship with Kyle, I put that in for the story as well, but it's between Fiske and Kyle, not myself and Kyle, because I'm reflecting myself through him.

Fiske is also homosexual, and faces much discrimination because of this. But he's very proud of himself and who he is. The band is all homosexual males, and many of the friends from Walton are bisexual, some gay, some lesbian, some transgendered, and some are even just straight supporters. Fiske has a boyfriend, Alex Eriskyne, who is human, but Fiske taught him how to change into his wolf form, Frerik. Eriskyne means "upon the knife" in Gaelic.

Alex's father is in jail for murder, and his mother is abusive, and actually stabbed him in his left eye with a kitchen knife when he was 13, so now he's permanently, partially blind in that eye. When Fiske found Alex(who was already 18 by this point) after an incident where he'd been beaten by his mother, Fiske helped heal Alex and they became friends. They made a very quick connection and fell in love. From there Fiske told Alex about how he is not human, and is in fact, a wolf. He wears a baseball cap to conceal his ears, and when his ears are hidden, his tail automatically hides, as well. So he took off his baseball cap and taught Alex all about his life as a wolf, and taught Alex about Frerik, the wolf he can change into.

Every human has a "spirit animal" they can change into, though they don't choose that animal for themselves. The animal actually used to be alive, and had a real name, and chooses their human before the human is even born. The human they choose is the human closest to them in looks and personality, etc. So Alex got Frerik. You can find them both(Alex and Frerik) in my gallery.

Now onto his home. His home is sequestered from all society, as he lives in a cave in the middle of a forest. The cave looks small on the outside, but on the inside, it's huge. I have everything placed where it needs to be. There's a couch at the front of the cave so he as well as guests can watch the sunset or sunrise or even just relax. There is a small black, oriental looking table for food and drinks in front of the couch. A little behind the couch and wandering off to the left is a small kitchen, where he bakes his tasty treats of baked bone marrow and a blood sauce/dip with extra seasonings. Everyone he tells about them, thinks it sounds terrible, nasty, and vile, but he makes them try it anyway, and has never met a person who didn't like the treats once they had(even the vegetarians). If you wander out of the kitchen area, straight behind the couch in a darkened area, sits his computer, desk, and chair. Directly in front of this and to the right is a mat on which he places the sick/injured, and connected to the wall above the mat is a shelf for all of his medicines, first aid, an ointment for external injuries which helps immensely in healing but hurts like all hell, and what is known as magic. Magic is not your normal Harry Potter spell anymore. It is, in fact, a healing agent. It helps in reducing pain. Magic looks like the glitter you used on every project you did when you were a little kid, and comes in up to three different colors for different people and the severity of their injuries or sickness. It can be used internally or externally, but the internal form is like a sparkling blue version of any type of food you eat. And surprisingly enough, it's very tasty. So you could take your favorite type of cookie in magic form and it would be even better than normal AND it would reduce the internal pain you happen to be having. People that have tried edible magic before now make excuses for being able to take it again. This area is often used for Fiske himself, because he is, in fact, ill. What he's got is something no one's ever seen or heard of, and is not contagious. No one before has ever had the disease, and no one after him ever will have it, but the main problem when he gets extremely sick is internal bleeding, so when he coughs up blood, you know he's sick again. The phoenix mentioned before that is in the band, is the one that helps with surgical things, and is the one who always knows what he's doing when Fiske gets sick. When he finishes up his help with Fiske, he has to supply Fiske with an oxygen mask because it's hard for him to breathe, and for several days, Fiske lies in bed with it on.

Leaving the healing area, we move back towards the front of the cave and stay to the right hand side. As you walk, you'll see hangers for people to put their coats, hats, etc. at the very front right. But you don't get that far because you run into a set of stairs. This set of stairs goes up to a middle floor which is seemingly just a random stone walkway. But there is a particular piece of stone that you can push inward and it opens the door to the second floor main room. This room has a spiral staircase in the middle of it, with a fire pole coming down the middle for fun, and five evenly spaced rooms in the circular area. The first room to your direct left is Fiske's room, the next room is Shadow's, and then comes Autumn's room in the middle of it all, and then Twister's room, and Moonlight's room. All of the rooms are fit to the owner's natural element. Going into Fiske's room, there is a very small hallway and a circular/hexagonal shaped area where his bed sits. The walls in this area are actually an aquarium with many fish. The aquarium continues as the flooring for the area and there is a cut circular hole in the glass where Seth will come to his room to visit him through a pathway in the stone walls and ground of the cave. The light in the room comes from the aquarium for the light that the fish need to survive(causes heat in the water for the fish). When he shuts off the light at night, a different ventilation kind of heater keeps the aquarium heated. Leaving his room, you go next door to Shadow's room, where you see a forested area and rocky grounds. There is a large rock that serves as her bed, being smoothed down and rather comfy to sleep on. This room disturbs some people because it is very dark and scary looking. Autumn's room has heated stone flooring and a small stream of lava flowing through parts of the room. This room sometimes gets people too overheated. Twister's room adjusts with the temperature, time, and weather that is actually occurring outside the cave. Moonlight's room is sunny with the flooring being a field of flowers, and the back right corner has a huge tree. The room has a light switch at the front which does more than just turn off or on the lights. The light in the room actually comes from an artificial sun, and when turning the light off at night, the sun is replaced by a moon and stars. This room is very calming.

As we leave this area, we go up the spiral staircase in the center of the main room. There is a door that slides open in the ceiling, and upon jumping up through the door to the next floor, there is a long hallway with rainbow carpeting. There are several doors on each side of the hallway, and one at the very end of the hallway as well. Visiting each room, there are different themes according to natural habitats. The rooms are themed like...ocean, jungle, forest, TROPICAL forest, highlands and mountains, desert, until you cover all the habitats of the world, and even includes a farm room for animals such as cows, sheep, and horses. The end of the hallway, as said before, has one more room. And this room is themed for domestic animals. In each room, the wallpaper is a mural of the theme, and there are sounds in the room that you would hear in the actual habitat. Within each mural is every single type of animal you would find in that habitat. These are holographic animals that are originally part of the wallpaper, but can wander around the room at free will. They can hear you and have contact with you but they don't eat, so trying to feed them is pointless. When they get bored of wandering the room, they return to their spot on the wall. As a guest, you can choose which themed room you would like to sleep in.

This is much of the story that creates Fiske as he is and the story itself is all about his life and shows him in the day to day. I hope you've enjoyed reading up on my most precious character and his lovely little self.
So here's Fiske's anthro form:

And this is what Fiske USED to look like when he was Flame:

He's changed a lot, hasn't he? =)
